Sixteen Months

Twinkle

Kid has a serious twinkle in his eye.

He likes to keep one foot on the table at all times.

And is still unbearably cute.

He adores music (and his Grandma)

Is thrilled at every little success. The Tupperware shape sorter has become a favourite toy.

He is quite the budding artist.

And sometimes it is all just too much.

Interestingly, after he fell asleep into his noodles, he woke up miming eating noodles. Like he was dreaming noodly dreams. I am so glad I was there to see it, I wouldn’t have believed how cute it was if I hadn’t seen it.

Last week he discovered my bunny ears – gifts from my “hen’s night”.

Climbing is his new thing. With the combination of some walking, and the climbing, he can push the stepladder to the counter, and climb on to the bench.

I bought him his first Tonka Truck in gender neutral colours.

And he’s ready to have his own key to the door.

He’s talking up a storm. Today, his vocabulary consists of-

  1. oh so cute- falling asleep while dinner 🙂
all of my 3 did this once in their lifetime. bumped with the heads into their evening-bread and then you just put the small into his bed and have got a quiet nice and early evening 😉

    1. it was very cute – he’d given us hell the night before, so we didn’t have the heart to try to get him to have a morning nap (we were at the holiday house). Not much sleep at night + no morning nap = asleep in the high chair. Unfortunately he was awake and raring to go after a short lunchtime nap, but he slept really well that night!

  2. Thanks for the link to this Lara. I have been following your blog for ages. Can’t believe I missed this one!

Flynn and Inigo are so similar!!! Boy’s and their feet on the table – what is a Mumma to do 🙂
