Grace asked what type of noodles I use – this is a picture of the ones we are having tonight (because I’m tired, and I don’t really want to spend time in the kitchen). These are Double Merino brand, which I imagine are not available in Canada, but there would be a local equivalent. Grace, if you get stuck, take the icture with you to your local Chinatown – I am sure someone will help out š

When I was in Canada (and after struggling to make sense of the local grocery shopping) I was pleasantly surprised to find the Asian grocers were identical — identical!! — to the ones I frequent here. It was the only time I shopped with confidence the whole time I was there. So Double Merino is not such a stretch, really.
