Important life skills

Inigo learned to go down a slippery dip yesterday. Sometimes, he even went down the right way, but I was too proud to remember to take a picture.

And when we arrived at the shopping centre, I went to get him out of his car seat, and he proudly presented me with a finger full of snot. He’s learned to pick his own nose. His father is very proud.

  1. Don’t you wonder why they never include nose-picking on the baby milestone charts?

    What’s the deal with that?

Climbing up the slippery dip is such better exercise than going down. I think we should make kids line up to go up. Maybe there can be slides where kids climb up one slide and then slide down the other.

  2. Oh dad’s! They’re funny creatures! Or perhaps it’s got something to do with my child’s dad and your child’s dad having the same first name!

  3. I remember when my witchlet was about 2 she advised me as we were driving home that she had a monkey on her finger. I got home to discover that the monkey was snot and that “monkey” was the term her Sri Lankan day care mum used for it!
