The marvellous Kate rang tonight and offered us tickets to see ” Jerry Springer the Opera “. Of course, we didn’t have any plans for tomorrow that couldn’t be broken, and we decided to fob off the kid on my parents (who are going to Parkes for 6 weeks on Wednesday, so clearly they need more time with the kid!). Sally reviewed it last week, and I thought “sounds great, what a pity we can’t afford to go”. Now I just have to decide what to wear. What could possibly be appropriate?
