Inigo is nearly 11 months old, and all the kids we know around the same age are already crawling. Even William, who is 2 months younger than Inigo started to crawl last week.
I’m not in the least bit worried, he’s still completely within the normal range, and my gorgeous nephew Alex didn’t crawl till he was almost one.
Inigo is confidently picking up food and shoving it into his mouth, he’s waving, he’s babbling, he’s engaging – he’s on or ahead of the curve in most things, so I’m confident that there isn’t anything to worry about.
You can see forward motion, but it’s not exactly orthodox…

My girl hovered on the brink of crawling for what seemed like ages, then just suddenly got it one day. I reckon Inigo is just about to get moving, too. Great smile there, by the way!

Emily never crawled. She took two or three steps when she was 11 1/2 months old, then gave up and didn’t move again until she walked at 13 months. In fact, being a problem child all her life, she got out of the pram and started walking in the very crowded Police Pavilion at the old Easter show. No easing into it for her!

X is 16 months and not walking.
THe paeds said that they do not start investigating until they are 18 months old…
Though I have to admit I’m a bit concerned.
He started crawling properly at 12 months.

“properly” = conventional, on all 4s. before that he was dragging himself around on his belly.

You know, I don’t think my DD ever crawled properly! She went from creeping to walking [14 months] with no time to learn to crawl!! It’s just one of those things.

That video is delightful. The happiness in both of them is a joy!
Both of mine were average-age crawlers (whatever that means) but didn’t walk until they were well over 15 months, so you’re right not to worry.
He’s adorable, gotta watch it again now!

Go Inigo.
I wouldn’t worry he is active mobile and obviously interacting very well.
Cadel is driving me batty
He won’t sit and play, he just want to stand up, climb and cruise furniture all day.
