Just another reminder of why I need to think about the school issue carefully….

I wondered why there were TV cameras outside the local high school when we went to playgroup this morning.

I know it’s a long time till the kid hits high school, but FAR OUT. Not OK.

I was thinking about you this morning when I heard the news! Its not great but what scares me is that this kind of violent bullying can happen anywhere nowadays. Sigh. Parenting is freaking scary.

I guess theoretically it could happen anywhere, but it *does* happen at that school; this wasn’t a one off. GBHS could have been Hugo’s local high school if we’d stayed in our old house and it was one of the reasons we moved. Now we only have to deal with drive bys and six year old homophobes.
