I’m not a feminist, but…

I think women should be treated equally.

Another in an appallingly ongoing series, Kelly Clarkson isn’t a feminist.

*Edited to add – I *AM* a feminist, and I am appalled by women who say “I’m not a feminist, but…”, and I think they should be first up against the wall when the revolution comes. Or maybe second, after people who outline their lips in a lipliner that is much darker than their lipstick. And people in 4WD’s that don’t understand the proper use of the indicator. And people who feed babies coca-cola. And – I’d better stop now, I have work to do today!

  1. Oh dear! For a minute I thought you were serious! Tres confusing (and not at all like you!) And then I clicked the link.

(Please accept my most humble apologies for that split moment of lack of faith in your intelligence and integrity, my dear friend)

  2. I really don’t get how the label “feminist” has become such a dirty word to even people who want gender equality. And yet phoney baloney “girl power” is OK, because that’s sexy. People are weird.

  3. I’m not a feminist but I am all for equal gender rights. I’d call myself post-feminist but it gets to be a bit of a mouthful. I thin that a lot of feminist ideology is outdated for our history and culture, but it definitely had a place in the past (yay for suffragettes etc)
