Inigo’s Temperature has been normal since lunch time yesterday, so I am starting to relax a little. The snot production is still in full swing though, and I’m having to express and bottle feed, since he can’t breathe through his nose enough to feed properly.
He’s also having trouble sleeping, but apart from all that is still a happy chap for fathers day.

Ahh snot production – every mum’s favorite thing NOT. Sorry to hear that he has been sick but it sounds as though he is on the improve. Here are some suggestions that we have tried and/or heard about from mum’s
Saline spray/drops for kids worked really well in conjunction with a booger remover (aka an aspirator) I think Fess is a brand that we use. But as they get older it gets harder to do !
Snot removal can also be done by (ok this is slightly gross but Im told it works) putting your mouth over his nose and sucking it out…. told you it was gross but some mums swear it works. Also I have heard that putting breast milk up his nose can help it clear up – not sure how this is achieved ….
With the nurofen/panadol thing, we have worked out that panadol (actually dymadon tastes nicer and its slightly cheaper) during the day and nurofen at night is the best thing for Alex . For some reason the nurofen seems to be better at getting him to sleep longer.
