I was pretty chuffed when I read that article in the news the other day. Considering how well Jude has performed throughout kindergarten, I thought I could attribute some of it to him being breastfed for 20 months. Phoebe was breastfed for 30 months (until she announced “mummy, you’re all dried up).
Parents we stuff up all the time. It is how our kids become resourceful and independent. My kids are bound for greatness due to my failings……and keeping my boobs available for them as long as they wanted.
