Mark went snorkelling to see what he could see – and he found this amazing sting ray, just off the beach! He got some video too, but it hasn’t been uploaded yet.

And our favourite moment of the weekend was Alex and Inigo splashing together in the surf and playing surf rescue :)

In the meantime, I get to go back on the iron tabs, and stop eating wheat – one of which was making me feel heaps better, but I had to revert so that the tests wouldn’t be a waste of time.

Oh, and I have gastric reflux, which I have known for about 4 years, but now I can see a picture of it.

And the worst part? A toss up between the foul liquids you have to drink before hand (and the fasting for nearly 2 days), and the horrible, violent liquid diarrhoea, which I still have, despite being allowed to eat this afternoon.

The best bit? Apparently I’ve lost 6 kilos since I’ve been ill. No idea where I left them, but having no appetite might have something to do with it!

So. Now to play happy and nice until Saturday without freaking out.

This is just a note to let you know that he’s been doing well. He was 5.75 kg on Monday (gain of 280g in 3 days over the weekend). You can’t see ribs anymore, and even his skin colour looks much better. Lara should post more soon.

Lara and Inigo gazing at each other with love (twooo love). Watching the adoration in both of their eyes brought tears to mine.

And Lara taught Inigo a game. If you stick out you tongue at him, he sticks out his tongue back at you! Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to get a picture of Inigo with his tongue out, so this will have to do.

Yes, I’m back at work, and feel very guilty leaving Lara to look after the little guy all by herself. He’s not a lot of fun when he’s fractious – but at least he’s very cute most of the time.
