I fed for 14 months [22 years ago] and stopped only because I was bitten once too often!

My mum was told to stop by the doctor becasue it was making her too tired - I would have thought all that messing around with bottles and sterilising etc would be even more tiring!

Mums should decide for themselves and their bubs!

I've become so accustomed to breastfeeding when and how I want that I had almost forgotten that there were people who really thought that crap. Hunter was weaned at 21 months only because I was unable to conceive when breastfeeding. I have no idea when Hugo will wean but I'll be surprised if it's not well after 2 years old, especially since he's still breastfeeding roughly four trillion times a day now at 18 months.

I breastfeed on the train.
I think that if I gave commuters the choice between screaming baby and glimpse of my boob, they would chose the later.

How dare she use her breasts for the function which they were designed! I wasn't lucky enough to be able to breastfeed (my milk didn't come in) but I think that women should go for it as long as it feels right for them and the baby. That being said I think still breast feeding at the age of 8 is probably a bit extreme. :)
